SlipStitch presents Mi Gente, the magnum opus of artist GÄBO, at the Georgetown Ballroom. Centered on four textile works: Red (Women), Yellow (Farmers), Green (Activists), Blue (Queer), this experiential solo exhibition is a bold tribute to the people and communities that shape GÄBO’s daily life. Expect a high-impact visual environment plus interdisciplinary performances in collaboration with local Latinx diaspora nonprofit cultural organizations.
