OUR PROGRAMING

Since 2023, SlipStitch has hosted a growing slate of free, public exhibitions and events designed to make contemporary art feel welcoming, relevant, and accessible; right here in Seattle. What began as a community-rooted gallery program has evolved into an artist-centered platform for socially contextual exhibitions, artist talks, workshops, and neighborhood collaborations that connect underrepresented makers with new audiences and real opportunities.

Grounded in our core values of accessibility, inclusion, and ethical cultural entrepreneurship, we create experiences that invite curiosity, conversation, and belonging, while honoring artists through fair practices and community-first partnerships. Explore our past exhibitions and public programs below to see how we’re building an inclusive art ecosystem where art is a civic asset, and everyone has a seat in the room.

We acknowledge that the city of Seattle and its green spaces are situated on the traditional Coast Salish territory, specifically the ancestral lands of the Duwamish, Suquamish, Stillaguamish, and Muckleshoot Peoples. We recognize the stewardship of Seattle’s green spaces by the Coast Salish people since time immemorial, the disruption of this work by colonization, and now endeavor to continue this work.
