Our Programming

Inclusive cultural programming where art, community, and commerce meet—ethically
and accessibly

SlipStitch’s cultural programming builds an inclusive, accessible art ecosystem—creating paid opportunities for BIPOC and underrepresented artists while inviting our neighbors into experiences that feel welcoming, relevant, and alive. Through exhibitions, artist talks, workshops, and community collaborations, we connect art to the social context of our time and to the everyday life of Georgetown. Our goal is simple; strengthen creative careers, deepen belonging, and support the local small businesses that make our district thrive.

We acknowledge that the city of Seattle and its green spaces are situated on the traditional Coast Salish territory, specifically the ancestral lands of the Duwamish, Suquamish, Stillaguamish, and Muckleshoot Peoples. We recognize the stewardship of Seattle’s green spaces by the Coast Salish people since time immemorial, the disruption of this work by colonization, and now endeavor to continue this work.
