イベントについて

"Planet Earth is a magnificent balance of chaos and beauty." Stephen's latest body of work explores this contrast of energies between the untamed spirit of being and our desire to find harmony amidst the clamor of humanity. "To be conscious in the 21st century is to be constantly bombarded with media as though silence is a primitive state of being and noise is a comfort on the islands of isolation our lives are becoming. Virtual

meetings are replacing live interaction, 30-second videos fill the voids of societal needs to connect, and daily interactions are driven by prompts, passwords, and pin numbers."

"As I walk my path through life, I am reminded to touch the earth, to seek the beauty... to be amazed." Stephen Rock

"If visions were elephants,

and dreams were gardens,

our world would be trampled by beauty."  Rudyard Kipling

SlipStitch showcases a diverse collection of Modern and Contemporary art, featuring both American and International artists. Located in the heart of the Art District, Pioneer Square, Seattle. We offer a comprehensive range of Fine Art services, including art consultation, in-home trials, delivery, installation, art rental, crating, and shipping.

We acknowledge that the city of Seattle and its greenspaces are on stolen Coast Salish land, specifically the ancestral land of the Duwamish, Suquamish, Stillaguamish, and Muckleshoot People. We recognize the stewardship of Seattle’s greenspaces by the Coast Salish people since time immemorial, the disruption of this work by colonization, and now endeavor to continue this work.
