"My work explores the fragmented landscapes of memory, history, and dreams, often through the lens of the absurd. In my exhibition, 'Dada Dreams,' I delve into the spirit of the Dada movement, embracing its rejection of linear narratives and its celebration of chance.

Central to this exploration are my handmade books, each a unique assemblage of handcrafted pages. These are not simply repositories of text but tangible expressions of nonlinear storytelling. I meticulously compose these assemblages, allowing diverse materials and images to collide and intertwine, creating narratives that defy traditional logic. Like the Dadaists, I embrace the serendipitous, allowing a chance to guide the composition and invite viewers to forge their connections and interpretations.

My work subverts the traditional writing process, using its understanding to deconstruct and reassemble it. This deconstruction allows me to express the absurdities within our memories, histories, and dreams. Each book becomes an immersive experience, a journey into a world where the boundaries between reality and imagination blur. 'Dada Dreams' is an invitation to explore these fragmented realms, to embrace the irrational, and to discover the unexpected narratives that emerge from the interplay of chance and intention."

We acknowledge that the city of Seattle and its green spaces are situated on the traditional Coast Salish territory, specifically the ancestral lands of the Duwamish, Suquamish, Stillaguamish, and Muckleshoot Peoples. We recognize the stewardship of Seattle’s green spaces by the Coast Salish people since time immemorial, the disruption of this work by colonization, and now endeavor to continue this work.
